Daily Exercise - The human body is designed for daily activity, for in this activity or motion is its preserving power. The more we exercise the better will be the circulation of our blood. There is no exercise that can take the place of walking.

Walking is the best remedy for the diseased body, because all of the organs of the body are brought into use. Walking is the tranquilizer without a pill, it is the cosmetic not sold in a chemist shop, it is the therapy without a psycho-analyst, it is the fountain of youth that can extend you lifespan, it is the holiday that does not cost a cent, it is the exercise that needs no gym, it is the gym that needs no equipment, it requires no lessons from the experts, it requires no expenditure beyond the price of an extra pair of shoes a year. It can take away anger and anxiety. It can be engaged in individually or in groups. Its time is anytime, its place is anyplace, and it fits into anybody and everybody's schedule.

When you start any exercise program for the first time or after a long break, start slowly and gradually , increase the exercise with out feeling exhausted. Enjoy your exercise!

Walking burns up unwanted fat so you look and feel better; it improves muscle tone and blood vessels and changes weak flabby muscles to strong firm tissue. You will sleep better, have improved digestion and improved blood and oxygen circulation.

Exercise helps control the appetite, strengthens the heart and has a calming effect on the nerves.
